The atmosphere at our center is so warm, friendly, and inviting. You truly feel like you are a part of a family. The staff is professional and well-educated and always treat the children with kindness and respect. I have worked at Higher Horizons since 2012 and have had a wonderful time here. Here are some of the reasons why I love working at Higher Horizons.  I love that I work for a company that puts education as a priority. I know this because they not only provide opportunities to further our education for a CDA by connecting us to resources, but they also allow me to have a flexible schedule. They provide a safe work environment by taking the safety of their staff members very seriously and that’s important to me!

Being a Head Start Teacher has been one of the best decisions in my career.  The level of care and trust that the administration have in their teachers is so unique and special.  You feel supported and cheered on from the moment you begin your work in the classroom.  Higher Horizons is an impressive organization that makes educators feel supported and equipped in their efforts to change their lives.

Thank you for all your patience day to day, for every tear you wipe away, for little hands you gently hold, and all the stories you have told, for you consoling tender and all the wisdom you impart, for silly songs and quiet times, for teaching children how to share, for being kind and being fair, for every shoe that you have tied and thoughtful words that instill pride. I am a parent and my child Zayden goes to Higher Horizon! I picked the school because they have an amazing Head Start program and show a lot of love and attention to the kids. At the time, Zayden was not as advanced as the other children in his class. He also couldn’t walk at the time! And Ms. Rachel and her teacher assistant stood by his side and helped him how to walk! He started walking before Christmas break and I was really happy and amazed at how quickly he learned, I think it is a wonderful program to put your child because there is a lot of growth for your child and also for the parents as well!

This program is wonderful because they also have a lot of resources they help you with! Like your mental health and also teaching parents new other ways to help your child grow and learn better!

They also help with food banks and also other necessities that can help you! My child has exceeded so much since attending Higher Horizon and we continue to keep on forth with the program because we love it so much!

I’m very happy with Miriam. She is polite and very caring. I really appreciate how she shows concern of me. Every time talk we talk it feels special when She asks how I am feeling and How I am doing. I truly feel like I can count on Miriam when I share something. I feel good telling her what is going on and expressing my need. This is a very good program especially in the situation we are in. It’s pleasant to have someone to talk to about it. What’s been great for me is I’ve learned so much about parenting. I would like to say with all my heart thank you very much Higher horizons and Miriam. If anyone else is in my situation, I’m happy to refer them.
