The Play and Create with Me event was a great success on Thursday, May 9th. Numerous families were in attendance, and the event allowed them to engage in fun-filled activities with their children and foster memories that would last a lifetime. Wolf Trap provided Movement Matters activities to make the event more memorable. We also had games, giveaways, photos, and healthy snacks for families.
About Us
Higher Horizons, a private, non-profit organization was founded in 1963 as the first licensed early care and education facility in Fairfax County, VA. Higher Horizons serves 300 low-income children and families in the Bailey’s Crossroads and Falls Church communities of Fairfax County. Funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Head Start, and the Fairfax County Office for Children, the program provides high quality, comprehensive early childhood education and development services to income eligible expectant mothers and children 0-5 and their families.
