Holiday Giving
“The Change for Children” Fundraising Campaign

The Board of Higher Horizons will launch a year-long fundraising campaign to help support the needs of the center. The funds raised will be used to provide additional educational materials for the classroom, emergency services for families and other resources.

In keeping with the family focus and the team spirit of Higher Horizons, all segments of the center will participate in this special project. Appropriately entitled, “The Change for Children” this campaign embodies the spirit and energy of the many positive changes occurring in our country.

It will kick-off in October ’09 and will include four phases:

Phase I – Significant Change
	• Gifts of $1,000 and above (Corporations, churches, local retail, and other organizations)
Phase II – Major Change
	• Gifts of $100 and above (Board Members and friends)
Phase III – More Change
	• Gifts of $10-$25 (Higher Horizons Staff and friends)
Phase IV – Small Change
	• Gifts of 1 cent- $1 (Higher Horizons children and families)

The Board will set the overall fundraising goal which will be announced at the kick-off in October. We will need the help of all of the members of the Higher Horizons staff, family and friends.
